7th Grade Teacher

Mrs. Christian is the 7th grade homeroom teacher. She has been teaching at Maine Consolidated School since 2004. She has taught 3rd grade, 5th grade and is currently the middle school math teacher. She enjoys a challenge and loves working with children.

She grew up in Ohio and moved to Arizona when she attended Northern Arizona University where she obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She has lived in Parks for nearly 30 years and has two children. She loves the outdoors and hikes, fishes, and camps with her husband of over 30 years.

She has a Masters in Elementary Education, is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, is a Master Diver, and trains Search and Rescue dogs. She is an active member with the canine unit in the Civil Air Patrol. She utilizes Tank, a nationally certified tracking dog, for both agencies and is currently training her new puppy, Jet, who is showing a great deal of potential as a search dog.
